...so I got the pillow stitched up and stuffed...

...I used the same button closure as before...

...kind of wishing I had done more of a border on the bottom...just so that more of the Easter Eggs would show...oh well...

...and out on the piano bench on the porch...

...I won't have this on the porch for Easter Sunday...but the season of Easter goes until Pentecost...so it will still be appropriate when I do get it out there later next week...

...the first ten rows...kind of tedious with all the colour changes...but I'm loving all the pastels...

April Happy Easter Pillow...

...well as you can see from the chart...there are a lot of pastel colours in there...and I'll be starting with a chain of multiple colours...but you don't have to...you can just use a white foundation row...or one of your colours as it will probably be completely hidden by the seam or closure anyway...

...as I was dropping off some things at our local Goodwill...I noticed this ball of pink yarn...and I needed some pastel pink for this project so I picked it up...someone had made it into a cat play ball by winding it around a bell...so I just unwound and discarded the outer portion...and I should have enough for the pink egg and letters...quite the serendipitous find...

...I'll be using other colours from my stash...

...going with an Easter theme for April...I know Easter is not always in April...but the most common date for Easter is apparently April 10th...haha...

...and the pattern is super simple...just single crochet one stitch for each square in the chart...
