...well the December pillow is finished and on the porch...
...I took a few photos...this one without flash...it's kind of gloomy on the porch...
...and this one with flash...shows the silver of the star a little bit better...
...overall...I'm really happy with how it turned out...
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

December OH HOLY NIGHT Porch Pillow - Day FIVE
...just starting the star...I'm using one strand of white and some silver thread (sewing thread)...two strands...just held with the white...I thought some sparkle might be nice on the star...not sure it's really very visible though...

December OH HOLY NIGHT Porch Pillow - Day ONE
...just getting started with the first ten rows...and the bottom of the Nativity...you can see the small balls of light blue I'm juggling as I change colours each row...when those are used up I'll just attach another...

December OH HOLY NIGHT Porch Pillow
...my first thought as I looked at my stash of different colours of blue yarn...was to do a gradient from light at the bottom to dark at the top...with the graphic done is black...but after I got them all laid out in order I decided that I didn't want it to be that dark at the top...and I didn't think that there would be enough contrast between the black and the royal or navy blues...and I have a lot of small to medium sized balls of light (or baby) blue...so I decided just to use all of those up...alternating rows with each ball...
